Triple H continues to advance feuds and storylines as WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 approaches. While some rivalries started months ago, some are just getting introduced. Interestingly, one feud that has seemingly been building up for the past few weeks may have been dropped for the event.
WWE Survivor Series: WarGames is one of the most highly anticipated premium live events in the Stamford-based promotion. The PLE is notable for its major tag team matches. In the past, it usually featured a Traditional Elimination Tag Team Match between Team RAW and Team SmackDown. However, it has been replaced by WarGames Match in recent years.
Fans initially expected that Triple H might revive the classic inter-brand rivalry this year, as tensions continued to escalate between General Managers Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce. However, that may not happen.

Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce haven't mentioned the incident at Crown Jewel on television
The 2024 Crown Jewel event initially advertised a match between Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, but that didn't occur as both men brawled with each other instead. Another notable moment during the brawl was when Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis approached The Viper to calm him down, but the RAW General Manager received an RKO instead.
While Pearce received an RKO, Aldis only looked on and didn't provide any help to his fellow authority figure. This moment was certainly one of their most intense interactions yet. However, no mention of this matter has since been made by either man on RAW or SmackDown. Due to this, their potential feud might have been put on hold for now.
The build-up for WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 might feel rushed now
Although both men have been planting seeds for weeks about a potential clash, a full-fledged on-screen feud needs a proper build. Since both men haven't acknowledged each other recently, an on-screen feud may not be on their radar for now.
The Survivor Series: WarGames PLE will take place on November 30, and if a match were to happen, a proper feud would have already kicked off on TV. Now, it will feel rushed, and the build-up will be too short for the high-stakes match.
The general managers have too much to deal with ahead of WWE Survivor Series: WarGames
As of this writing, two matches have already been announced for the upcoming premium live event. Apart from Gunther defending his World Heavyweight Title against Damian Priest, Roman Reigns' OG Bloodline will collide with Solo Sikoa's version of the stable in a WarGames Match. However, it's expected the women's division will also have a match inside the steel structure.
A WarGames Match requires the involvement of multiple superstars, and this is why stars from RAW and SmackDown have been getting mixed up in recent weeks. Due to this, both managers might be too busy arranging for their stars to visit other brands and answer concerns regarding the matches.
