The WWE women's division is truly taking flight under Triple H's rule. The Game ensured the talent was recognized, and introduced the first mid-card title for the division: Women's United States Championship.
However, seeing how the men's division has a mid-card title for both SmackDown and RAW, Triple H might have another ace up his sleeve. He may soon introduce a mid-card title for the women's division on RAW as well.
The Women's United States Championship tournament only features SmackDown Superstars
WWE recently unveiled the tournament brackets for the Women's United States Championship. The champion will be crowned at Saturday Night's main event next month. In the first match of the tournament, Bayley defeated B-Fab and Candice LeRae to proceed to the next round.
Interestingly, the bracket only has SmackDown Superstars. Given that the red brand has talent who are deserving of a mid-card championship, Triple H may soon announce the same for Monday Night RAW. This will ensure both brands are providing equal opportunities to the women's division.
WWE RAW's move to Netflix can push for a new mid-card championship
When Monday Night RAW moves to the streaming platform, WWE will need to bring its A-game to the show. In fact, Triple H might move some of the biggest names of SmackDown to the red show to ensure that the show's debut is a gigantic success.
That being said, the women's division can truly benefit from a mid-card title on Monday Night RAW. It will provide more opportunities for WWE to write storylines for the superstars along with giving debuting superstars a chance to move to the top. Not only will it boost the product on Netflix, but could also help bring more eyes to the women's division.
The women's division already lacks tag team representation
The men's division has two Tag Team Titles, one on each brand. However, the women's division only has the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship, and it is shared across the main roster divisions. If The Game doesn't introduce another title on RAW, the women's mid-card scene will lack representation on one of the brands at all times.
While Triple H might not be able to introduce a new Tag Team Championship for the division, a singles title will definitely be of great value. The superstars deserve a Women's Intercontinental Championship!
