Triple H's reign as WWE's Chief Content Officer has witnessed some brilliant signings. From bringing CM Punk and Andrade back to signing Jade Cargill from AEW, The Game has brought in some great talent. However, it might now be time for him to offload some talent from the roster.

In the coming weeks, Triple H could see a legendary 44-year-old superstar as part of a WWE - TNA crossover. The superstar in question is Japanese wrestling legend, Shinsuke Nakamura.

Before signing with WWE in 2016, Nakamura dominated New Japan Pro-Wrestling, winning several championships during his over a decade-long career. The Japanese star also had a match in TNA in 2008. In this article, we will look at reasons why Nakamura should move to TNA Wrestling.

Shinsuke Nakamura's time on the WWE main roster seems to be over

In 2023, Shinsuke Nakamura was given quite a push. At one point, Nakamura feuded with the company's top face Cody Rhodes, and even fought for the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins. However, this push the Japanese received was short-lived.

In recent times, Nakamura has been absent from the main roster and does not have an interesting storyline in hand. Hence, rather than just being a talent on the roster, The King of Strong Style could go and explore the exciting waters of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.

Shinsuke Nakamura can reinvent himself in TNA

Even if and when Shinsuke Nakamura is introduced on television again, the chances of him being involved in a big or successful feud are next to zero. It would be safe to say that Nakamura might not win a mid-card title let alone a World Championship in the Stamford-based promotion.

However, if Nakamura goes to Nashville-based company, he can reinvent himself in the promotion. If everything goes well for him, the former Intercontinental Champion could also potentially challenge for the World Championship in TNA. Hence, this move could be a profitable deal for the Japanese star.

Moving to TNA keeps the doors for a return open

In the last few months, wrestling fans have witnessed a great working relationship between WWE and TNA. Jordynne Grace, Joe Hendry, and Frankie Kazarian have appeared on NXT programming. Hence, by going to TNA, Shinsuke Nakamura will keep the door for a possible return to the Stamford-based promotion open.

For all one knows, Shinsuke could go to TNA, have a majestic run in the promotion, and return to WWE as a bigger superstar than he is right now. This potential scenario might help Nakamura gain some momentum and finally win a World Championship in the Triple H-led promotion.
