WWE may have found a new favorite star at the recently concluded Money in the Bank, who could be due for a huge push ahead of SummerSlam 2024. The name in question is none other than Chelsea Green.
The 33-year-old SmackDown Superstar competed in the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match this past weekend, and she came close to becoming Ms. MITB. However, The Hot Mess fell short in the final moments, as she crashed through two tables after Tiffany Stratton pushed her from the top of the ladder. Stratton unhooked the briefcase to become Ms. MITB 2024.
A recent report by Fightful stated that Green received heavy praise backstage for her work leading up to and at Money in the Bank. WWE higher-ups were reportedly pleased with Green's promotion of the event and her performance in the Ladder Match.

Not only did she earn everyone's admiration with the dangerous table spot, but Chelsea was also hailed for her nonchalant response when she was asked to take that bump. Green was hailed as one of the top favorites to become the next Ms. Money in the Bank, but Triple H may have planned more opportunities for her on SmackDown.
The Game will likely recognize the former champion's efforts and grant her a huge push on Friday Night SmackDown. The former RAW Superstar has nailed her on-screen character and has delivered good matches. Thus, we may see her presented as a credible threat in the title picture sooner than we think.
WWE Superstar Chelsea Green reacts after a dangerous spot in Women's MITB Ladder Match
Many in the WWE Universe praised Chelsea Green for her standout performance at the recently concluded Money in the Bank PLE. A fan took to social media platform X (Twitter) to hail the SmackDown star's performance and even tagged her husband, Matt Cardona, to ask for his opinion on The Hot Mess' memorable match.
Green responded to the post, claiming she could've died following the dangerous fall onto the table from the top of the ladder. Staying true to her character, Green made other posts about how she was denied a good opportunity despite putting in her best efforts in front of her hometown crowd in Toronto, Canada. It will be interesting to see what's next for Chelsea and her tag team partner, Piper Niven, on the blue brand ahead of WWE SummerSlam.
