Triple H can't be faulted for giving WWE stars opportunities, and that's the case with SmackDown this year. Tiffany Stratton has been propelled into the spotlight as Miss Money in the Bank, while LA Knight finally got his hands on singles gold by winning the United States Championship.
Andrade looks to be the latest star set for a push, given his recent prominence on the blue brand. He's been embroiled in a feud with Carmelo Hayes that has become one of the most entertaining series of matches on TV.
El Idolo challenged LA Knight for the United States title on SmackDown last week but came up short. He's been put in the spotlight and received a new entrance on the blue brand, and he looks like the whole package.
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
Triple H might have decided Andrade is worthy of a significant push, and he's taken the opportunity in his stride. The Mexican star had been competing on WWE Speed and is the reigning champion, but he's now a main attraction on Friday nights.
Andrade is also over with fans, as seen by the reaction he got from the WWE Universe before facing Hayes on SmackDown tonight (September 27). He could climb the blue brand's ladder and head towards a potential main event run.
WWE SmackDown star Andrade wishes he'd faced Triple H before The Game retired
Andrade and Triple H never locked horns while the company's chief content officer was still a competitor. The King of Kings retired in 2022 after suffering heart failure a year earlier and having an ICD put in his chest during surgery.
Andrade is an entertaining in-ring performer and has had stellar matches with many legends. The Mexican has faced the likes of Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton during his career.
The former United States Champion revealed in July 2021 that he had wanted to wrestle the Cerebral Assasin:
"I would have liked to wrestle against Triple H in WWE. I would have loved to wrestle him in a one-on-one match, but it was not materialized. Things did not go our way, but I would have loved wrestling against Triple H." [H/T EW Wrestling].
Andrade left WWE in March 2021 and spent three years with the promotion's main competitor, AEW. He returned at the Royal Rumble earlier this year and has been booked as a babyface finding his way on WWE SmackDown.
