Triple H has made several changes in WWE after becoming the head of creative, even NXT saw some of its major changes after its recent partnership with TNA. Interestingly, a former WCW legend believes it could lead to something more.

NXT was introduced as WWE's developmental program for up-and-coming stars in 2010. It has witnessed several revamps and now has its own program and network deal. Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns, and more started their journey in the Stamford-based promotion. Even now, the brand produces future megastars like Trick Williams, Carmelo Hayes, and more. Still, Vince Russo believes TNA could replace the Tuesday show to be the company's training grounds.

In an episode of The Wrestling Outlaws, Vince Russo believed that TNA could replace NXT as WWE's developmental grounds since it already has several former superstars to train talents, which could help with the expenses and costs of the brand. The WCW legend added that nobody from the Tuesday show is "getting over."

"Bro, you've got a lot of ex-WWE good people at TNA. You've got the Tommy Dreamers, you've got the Gail Kims. You've got a lot of veterans down there, bro. Why not have that become your developmental territory, bro? Cut the NXT expense. All the money that's costing, bro, come on, man, they know nobody's getting over from NXT. They know it."

The Tuesday show recently welcomed Jordynne Grace and Ash by Elegance into their programming, while the former IMPACT Wrestling recently had Tatum Paxley at TNA Against All Odds.

Is WWE and TNA's partnership over?

The Stamford-based promotion has partnered with TNA recently and with NOAH and Marigold. Despite the ongoing partnerships, Shawn Michaels expressed that he will put his focus on somewhere else.

In an interview with Sportsnet, Shawn Michaels was asked about possibly expanding the developmental brand's relationship with other wrestling promotions. The Hall of Famer explained that there are more possibilities for the brand to expand.

He expressed that they were thrilled with the recent partnership and hoped it would lead to more in the future and there are still a lot of things in the process. However, his focus right now is on NXT and their upcoming Heatwave show in Toronto on July 7.

It's interesting to see the Stamford-based promotion partner with the different wrestling promotions. It remains to be seen what else is next for WWE and who else will appear on their television.
