WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has been doing a great job of creating memorable weekly episodes and premium live events. One of The Game's biggest strengths, which fans have witnessed, is how he leaves breadcrumbs.
The latest hint dropped by The King of Kings conveys that Bayley may leave SmackDown and join RAW.
A backstage meeting with Adam Pearce
With a new calendar year starting, the Stamford-based promotion may try to switch a few superstars across its brands to better use them. This week, on RAW, several stars from the SmackDown locker room were in attendance to watch the red brand’s Netflix debut.
Bayley was one of these superstars. However, the four-time WWE Women’s Champion was seen backstage with Adam Pearce instead of enjoying the show from the stands.
While the conversation between them wasn’t audible, The Role Model could very well be on her way to the Monday night show. This would give her a much-needed boost and also pull her out of the recent stagnation she has been facing.
Bayley has been playing second fiddle to other stars since SummerSlam
Bayley is known as one of the four horsewomen in WWE alongside Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch. Despite this status, after The Role Model lost her Women’s Championship to Nia Jax at SummerSlam, she didn’t get a rematch at any premium live event.
While she remained in the title picture, she constantly shared that spot with Naomi, with the latter eventually overtaking her.
Now, Queen Nia is no longer the champion as Tiffany Stratton has finally cashed in her Money in the Bank contract and dethroned her. The Role Model also played the role of a sidekick to another one of her friends, Michin, in her feud with Chelsea Green, who is the reigning Women’s US Champion. Thus, the company could be moving her to RAW for better prospects.
Bayley could challenge Rhea Ripley for her title on WWE RAW
Rhea Ripley finally got the Women’s World Championship back almost nine months after she had to relinquish the title. If WWE decides to make this the final chapter in the feud between Mami and Liv Morgan, then the former would need a new challenger very soon.
Bayley’s move to the RAW brand could be motivated by this reason. This would put The Role Model back in the pursuit of a world championship and also give The Eradicator a credible opponent to begin her second reign as champion. Notably, Becky Lynch could also be thrown in the mix, adding more weight to the competition.
It will be interesting to see what lies in the future for Bayley, and whether her move to RAW gets confirmed in the coming weeks.
