Gunther termed Randy Orton as one of the greatest of all time, and he is not incorrect. Just like The Viper mentioned, he has five beautiful children, a "smoke-show of a wife," and is a 14-time World Champion. So, it would be safe to say that he has achieved quite a lot in his life. The Legend Killer's next target is becoming a 15-time World Champion by dethroning The Ring General as the World Heavyweight Champion at the Bash in Berlin 2024 Premium Live Event.

However, if Orton wins, he will move to WWE RAW and someone will replace him on SmackDown. Triple H may have confirmed the name during a segment on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW.

Randy Orton claimed that he would move to WWE RAW after dethroning Gunther

During the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Randy Orton and Gunther shared a fiery segment. Both of them had interesting words to share but some may have revealed The Ring General's future in WWE.

Randy Orton claimed that once he moves to RAW, The Ring General's Friday nights will not be free anymore. This means that the current World Heavyweight Champion will possibly move to Friday Night SmackDown as Orton's replacement if he gets dethroned.

Gunther did not refute the claim

Whether or not Gunther remains the World Heavyweight Champion will depend on how the title match against Randy Orton at Bash in Berlin goes. However, The Viper's claim was about what would happen to The Ring General when the former dethrones him.

Interestingly, the Austrian star did not refute the claim. He could have laughed it off or made a counter-claim but he did not. Even though it might not be concrete proof of The Ring General being Randy Orton's replacement, WWE is more about reading between the lines than only acknowledging what meets the eye.

WWE SmackDown needs more top superstars

It seems like all of SmackDown's top superstars are engaged in The Bloodline storyline at the moment. While Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens have a title match brewing, it ultimately connects to The Bloodline given Roman Reigns has returned to the Stamford-based company.

On the other hand, Monday Night RAW has Drew McIntyre, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins' storyline going at the moment. Additionally, it also has Damian Priest and Finn Balor's rivalry as well. Hence, moving Gunther to SmackDown will enable WWE to shake things up slightly and ensure that the blue brand has separate storylines from The Bloodline Saga.
