WWE Survivor Series: WarGames was a night to remember, but some fans are still reeling from the events that happened backstage. The World Heavyweight Championship match between reigning champion Gunther and Damian Priest had shades of SummerSlam.

Gunther once again got the better of Damian Priest, thanks to Finn Balor who cost him the title in a similar way he did at The Biggest Party of the Summer.

Shortly after, Jackie Redmond caught up with the Irishman backstage and asked him to explain his actions, but The Archer of Infamy ambushed him in the parking lot.

JD McDonagh and Carlito joined the party and ignited a three-on-one beatdown until Adam Pearce pulled them apart. Actions have consequences and the RAW General Manager has shown he can assert his authority if needed, especially for rule-breakers.

On the RAW after Survivor Series: WarGames, Adam Pearce could make a quick judgment call on Triple H's orders and punish all four members involved in the backstage fracas by dishing out suspensions. Priest could condemn the decision, given he was robbed of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship for the second time.

However, he took matters into his own hands, rather than letting Adam Pearce handle the situation. The General Manager of RAW could also teach Balor and McDonagh a lesson by stripping them of the World Tag Team Championship.

Pearce previously rejected Balor after he demanded a rematch with Priest and told him to focus on defending his title. The Irishman didn't listen and could be reprimanded for that.

Keep in mind, that this is just a pure speculation at the moment. Fans should tune into RAW this week to find out how things unfold between Damian Priest and Finn Balor.

Did Damian Priest get injured at the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames?

Damian Priest was seen favoring his left shoulder during his match against Gunther last night.

Later on, Finn Balor clobbered the former Judgment Day member with a steel chair to his shoulder. It is possible that the backstage angle was played out to write The Archer of Infamy off television for the foreseeable future.

Interestingly, Gunther delivered a big boot to Finn Balor after the latter helped him. Is the Irishman next in line for The Ring General and his WWE World Heavyweight Championship? Only time will tell.
