John Cena was crowned the new WWE champion (for the 11th time!) at the recently concluded WrestleMania 29 after beating The Rock in a match for the WWE title, which went on for nearly 30 minutes or so. John Cena finally got his ‘redemption’ after he was beaten by the Great One at last year’s WrestleMania. The Rock won the WWE title earlier when he beat CM Punk at the Royal Rumble.
The Miz also managed to capture the WWE Intercontinental title defeating it’s previous holder Wade Barrett in the interactive pre-show at WrestleMania 29. The Miz was true to his word as he was pretty ‘awesome’ in the match.
