Nia Jax will defend her WWE Women's Championship against Naomi on the first episode of SmackDown in 2025 next week. The Irresistible Force has successfully defended her title since winning it from Bayley at SummerSlam. However, Jax also faces an imminent threat from her friend, Tiffany Stratton, who might cash in her Money in the Bank contract at any time.
Similarly, she also faces threats from Bianca Belair and Bayley, who might also cause outside intervention and cost her the title. To counter these threats, Jax could have two former AEW stars appear on SmackDown and act as her soldiers. The two superstars are the Tonga Twins; Taahine and TalaVou, former Women of Wrestling (WOW) Tag Team Champions.
There have been rumors of the Tonga Twins making their WWE debuts since they quit WOW earlier this year after issues with the promotion's management. The duo has also been spotted at WWE's performance center on a few occasions. They were expected to make it to the main roster through NXT, but that hasn't happened yet.
Therefore, there's a chance that the two stars might make their appearance on SmackDown directly, coming in as new mates of Nia Jax and later forming a Bloodline with Jax as the leader. The Bloodline faction has been inarguably the most successful group in the promotion's history, and thereby, a female Bloodline could very well be in the cards in 2025.
Fans drowned out a popular wrestler with 'She's a racist' chants recently
The possibility of the formation of a female Bloodline in WWE has increased further since one-half of the Tonga Twins dropped hints about it. Recently, an X user shared a photoshopped image of a potential female Bloodline featuring Nia Jax, The Rock's daughter (and General Manager of NXT) Ava Johnson, Dakota Kai, and the Tonga Twins. Taahine reshared the post with an emoji supporting this idea.
While Nia Jax and other WWE superstars haven't reacted to this post, a reply from Taahine does raise a level of curiosity. Who knows, the duo could make a stunning debut in WWE next year. For the unversed, the Tonga Twins aren't blood relatives of the Anoa'i family, but they have been trained by Hall of Famer Rikishi.
Tiffany Stratton might turn on Nia Jax next week on WWE SmackDown
Tiffany Stratton may finally pull the trigger on SmackDown next week by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract against her friend, Nia Jax. Stratton has recently shown interest in cashing in her contract against Jax.
During the 3-on-3 tag team match on this week's SmackDown, The Buff Barbie had almost cashed in her contract on Nia Jax but was prevented by Candice LeRae. Not only on SmackDown, Stratton also tried cashing in her contract during the Women's WarGames match at Survivor Series but was stopped by Raquel Rodriguez.
It remains to be seen if the former NXT Women's Champion will begin her new year with a Women's Championship victory.
