The build-up for WWE Survivor Series: WarGames will continue on the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW. The show will be held at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Gunther has been advertised for the Monday Night show. He will address the number one contender for his World Heavyweight Championship, Damian Priest. Additionally, 'Big' Bronson Reed has also been announced to make an appearance.
Below are five ways Triple H could surprise us on WWE RAW this week.
Cody has no chance against John Cena? Details HERE
#5. Braun Strowman could return
Before his absence, Braun Strowman was involved in a massive feud with Bronson Reed. During their Last Monster Standing match a few weeks ago, Strowman suffered a groin injury.
The former Universal Champion could make his return from injury on the upcoming episode of RAW. This would be a huge boost for the show moving forward.
#4. Finn Balor could attack Damian Priest
Damian Priest emerged victorious in a Fatal Four-Way match last week to earn a shot at Gunther's World Heavyweight Championship. One person who won’t be happy about this is Finn Balor.
Balor turned on Priest at SummerSlam and cost him the title to Gunther. Seeing The Archer of Infamy get another shot at the title will likely infuriate Balor. He could show frustration by attacking his former tag team partner on RAW.
#3. New champions could be crowned on WWE RAW
The past few weeks have been quite successful for the Women's World Champion, Liv Morgan. She became the first-ever Women's Crown Jewel Champion by defeating Nia Jax at Crown Jewel.
She could add even more accolades on the upcoming episode of RAW. Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are set to face Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.
Belair and Cargill will be the favorites to retain going into the match. However, Triple H could surprise everyone by having Liv and Raquel become the new champions. This could potentially plant the seeds for a feud between Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair down the line.
#2. Women's Intercontinental Championship could get introduced
During the latest episode of SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis made a historic announcement. He unveiled the new Women's United States Championship.
The news has since been received positively by the fans. RAW General Manager Adam Pearce might make an announcement of his own on the upcoming show. He could introduce a brand new Women's Intercontinental Championship. This would ensure that each show has its own mid-card title for the women.
#1. CM Punk could make a shocking appearance
CM Punk has been out of action ever since his long-time feud with Drew McIntyre came to an end at WWE Bad Blood. After their match, The Second City Saint had mentioned that his future remained uncertain and would be out for a while.
With Survivor Series on the horizon, this could be the perfect time for Triple H to bring Punk back. The former world champion could play a crucial role at Survivor Series, the very event where he made his memorable return last year.
