#1 Daniel Bryan turns on Shane McMahon and the heels go over

Daniel Bryan may turn on Shane McMahon this Sunday

Daniel has been getting increasingly frustrated with the way Shane is using his authority as the commissioner of Smackdown Live to fuel his personal vendetta against the duo of Zayn and Owens. Daniel is having flashbacks of when the Authority did everything their power to keep him from rising to the top. Shane's behavior has been very egotistic and narcissistic over the past few weeks, and Clash of Champions is the breaking point for Bryan.

How can it happen?

During the match, Owens hits Shane by mistake when Nakamura ducks his offense. Shane is infuriated and is about to disqualify the match when Bryan stops him. Shane tells Daniel who the boss is, and that he is not to be questioned. Bryan takes offense to this, and clocks Shane in the head to become the sole referee for the rest of the match. Zayn and Owens use this distraction to their advantage, taking out Nakamura and finishing Orton in the ring with a pop-up powerbomb and a Helluva kick.
