The Royal Rumble 2024 Premium Live Event is just around the corner, and the WWE Universe is excited. The event is always a spectacle, especially considering there are usually a couple of surprise returns. This time around, a two-time WWE Hall of Famer could be returning for the biggest surprise of all.
The Hall of Famer in question is none other than X-Pac. Pac, whose real name is Sean Waltman, was inducted into the Hall of Fame as a member of D-Generation X and the New World Order. However, he hasn't been seen in a WWE ring since 2018.
That said, Pac is eager to return and has hinted that he would love to enter the Royal Rumble. Unfortunately, his wishes have not been realized, and it is unlikely to change this year as well. Pac took to Twitter recently, where he emphasized that he would not be able to participate in the upcoming Rumble.

However, what if all this is just a ruse? On paper, this would actually be the best time for X-Pac to make his grand return. His good friend, Triple H, is currently in charge of WWE, giving him the perfect opportunity. Moreover, his tweet comes just two weeks before the event itself, making it highly suspicious.
This could all just be a part of the former 1-2-3 Kid's plans to throw fans off while still keeping his name fresh in their minds. All in all, the possibility of him appearing in the Rumble can not be ruled out. Nevertheless, this is all just mere speculation, and only WWE knows who will and will not be making an appearance.
Five superstars have announced their intent to participate in the Royal Rumble
X-Pac's participation in the Royal Rumble is still up in the air, but that isn't the case for everyone. Five WWE Superstars have already announced their intent to participate in the Men's Rumble match.
Cody Rhodes, Shinsuke Nakamura, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre from Monday Night RAW have all announced their entry. From SmackDown, Bobby Lashley has warned the other 29 participants by announcing his entry.
The WWE Universe will be watching closely on January 27th. One thing is for sure; this year's Rumble will be one for the ages.
