The last time WWE fans witnessed Finn Balor's Demon persona was at WrestleMania 39, where he faced Edge in a Hell in a Cell match. Since the conclusion of this match, the current World Tag Team Champion has been occupied with The Judgment Day and has been constantly competing on RAW.
While the WWE Universe has seen a lot of Finn Balor in recent times, they could see the return of his Demon persona on the red brand. The Wyatt Sicks' leader, Uncle Howdy could force Balor to bring this persona back.
When Balor was asked why didn't he bring back his alter-ego, he said:
“I would like to keep Finn as a heel and The Demon as the babyface and not blur the lines at all."
In the coming months, WWE could pursue a storyline between The Wyatt Sicks and Balor. Given how The Judgment Day story is unfolding on RAW, there are chances the faction might soon break up. This potential breakup could see Balor turning face and going his own way.
If this happens, then a potential rivalry between Uncle Howdy and Finn Balor would be great for the company. Since Uncle Howdy and The Wyatt Sicks have a dark mysterious side to them, Balor making use of his Demon persona would work well against them.
Finn Balor recently spoke about his future with WWE
Earlier this week, the WWE Universe received the news of Finn Balor signing a contract extension with the Stamford-based promotion. It was revealed that The Prince would be staying with the company for five more years. Naturally, the news was a relief for Balor fans who were keen on knowing more about his future.
After the renewal, The Judgment Day member spoke more about his future in the promotion during an appearance on the What's The Story podcast. Balor revealed he was excited and said:
"Yeah, another extension for five years. I'm super excited. You never know. I remember when I was 20 and I was like, 'If I make it to 30 I'll be doing well.' Then, you're in your 40s and I'm like, 'Sh*t, do they want me to keep doing this? Am I able to keep doing it? How is the body going to feel?' We sat down, had a couple of conversations and the feelings were mutual. I wanted to stay, they wanted me to stay. We hashed it out and I couldn't be happier."
Since signing with WWE in 2014, Finn Balor has become one of the company's top superstars. It will be interesting to see if the first-ever WWE Universal Champion can win another World Championship before he hangs his boots.
