One of the scariest characters in WWE, The Boogeyman, might show up on TV once again. The 60-year-old former superstar, currently under a legends deal with the Stamford-based promotion, confirmed his interest in returning to the squared circle again on social media.

The last time The Boogeyman showed up in WWE was during the RAW Legends Night special on January 4, 2021. He appeared out of nowhere and scared the 24/7 Champion at the time, Angel Garza, allowing R-Truth to pin him and win the championship. He was recently featured in some backstage videos on WWE's YouTube channel.

How might The Boogeyman make his return to potentially have a match at WrestleMania 41, where he can finally bid adieu to his fans? This article will explore three ways WWE can utilize him on TV.

#1. Manage WWE's mysterious group: The Wyatt Sicks

WWE can incorporate The Boogeyman as the manager of The Wyatt Sicks. The Wyatt Sicks might add another member to its ranks, and Braun Strowman's name is already doing the rounds.

The Boogeyman's inclusion in The Wyatt Sicks also makes sense, as the faction is currently the top horror-themed group in WWE, which made its debut in June 2024. The Uncle Howdy-led group still has a lot of room to explore, and The Boogeyman might just raise its stock by emerging as the new manager of the group.

The Wyatt Sicks is currently in a feud with The Final Testament. The Boogeyman could surprisingly attack one of the members of the Karrion Kross-led group at the Survivor Series: WarGames PLE, which might lead to a bigger brawl at WrestleMania 41 next year, leading to The Boogeyman's participation in the brawl.

#2. A dream WWE retirement match between 'The Demon' Finn Balor and The Boogeyman

Another great way to book The Boogeyman would be to give him a match with 'The Demon', Finn Balor, at WrestleMania 41 next year. The Nightcrawler himself gave a thumbs-up to this idea on social media.

An X user posted a photoshopped image of Finn Balor vs. The Boogeyman at WrestleMania 41. The Boogeyman responded to this tweet, by replying, "I love it".

Finn Balor has said that The Demon gimmick won't return until The Judgment Day storyline has run its course. Going by current developments, Finn Balor might soon feud with Dominik Mysterio and might be out of The Judgment Day before Survivor Series. This further sets the ground for his Demon character to make a comeback, and face The Boogeyman at WrestleMania 41.

At WrestleMania 41, Balor can defeat The Boogeyman as the legend finally retires from in-ring competition.

#3. A WrestleMania match between Uncle Howdy and The Boogeyman

The Boogeyman could also be booked in a feud with Uncle Howdy if he returns to TV. He could first be used as a manager for The Wyatt Sicks, and weeks before WrestleMania 41, he could turn on Uncle Howdy, leading up to a bigger brawl between them.

At WrestleMania 41, The Boogeyman could have a final match with Uncle Howdy, put him over, and finally retire at The Grandest Stage of Them All. It remains to be seen how the company books one of its most feared characters for a proper farewell.
