Former WWE commentator and Hall of Famer Jim Ross recently hosted a Q&A session on his website JRsBarBQ.com, where he opened up about various topics including The Undertaker, Goldberg returning to WWE, the possibility of him returning to the franchise and more.
When asked if The Undertaker will retire at WrestleMania 32, Ross said that the iconic wrestler was too big a figure to announce his retirement all of a sudden and stated that when Undertaker does decide to retire, shockwaves would be sent through WWE, while also stating that an out-of-the-blue announcement would be unwise.
On the topic of Goldberg resigning with WWE, the commentator stated that he would believe that piece of news only when it actually happens, and stated that while Goldberg’s resigning would do WrestleMania 32 a whole lot of good, the possibility of him putting pen to paper so soon is unlikely.
On whether he could return to WWE as a commentator, Ross remarked: “For me to return to broadcast a special match, etc depends solely on WWE and not me. I am not against doing a “one off” but that’s WWE’s call. Let’s not hold our breath on that one.”
