There were many great kickouts in the match, such as 'Taker kicking out of two superkicks and Shawn Michaels kicking out of a chokeslam, the Last Ride and the Tombstone. When Undertaker hit Michaels with the Tombstone, fans thought that the match was over, but Michaels somehow managed to kick out from it.

The end came when Michaels was about to hit a Moonsault from the top rope, but The Undertaker countered it and caught him in mid-air and turned the Moonsault to a Tombstone for the victory. This was the best match in WrestleMania history.
