Seth Rollins and CM Punk are set to finally face each other on WWE RAW's Netflix premiere next week. The match has been a long time coming and is highly anticipated, but it looks like one star might interfere in favor of The Visionary.
To end 2024, the two men went face-to-face again on this week's Monday show and had an intense verbal back-and-forth that touched their personal lives and Punk's time in AEW. Interestingly, Becky Lynch might not like The Best in the World's comments about her.
During this week's segment, Punk asked if The Man, Becky, also walked away from WWE like Seth claimed Punk did years ago. However, Rollins countered this by saying she was caring for a child, which Punk can't relate to. Due to these comments, The Best in the World might return next week and help her husband defeat his rival for attacking their family.
Fans last saw The Man in May during a title match against Liv Morgan. Her contract expired in June and she has been spending time with her daughter, Roux, since then. However, it was majorly hinted that she might return to the red brand soon after being advertised on the Netflix premiere commercial.
What did Becky Lynch say about Seth Rollins' reaction when CM Punk returned to WWE in 2023?
CM Punk's WWE return in 2023 was kept a secret and only a few people knew it was going to happen, which meant Seth Rollins freaking out during The Second City Saint's return was quite genuine as he was also kept out of the loop.
While talking with Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour, The Man said she was also shocked when Punk appeared at last year's Survivor Series. She also shared that Seth Rollins felt disrespected and WWE should have informed superstars about what was happening.
"He felt disrespected. But like I said, we think of ourselves, right? We are the universe, right? Everybody. We are the universe but nobody's going 'I want to disrespect him.' So we may feel disrespected but nobody's intentionally going 'let me disrespect this person,' you know what I'm saying? So of course that should've been taken into account. You should have told your top stars, of course. But like I said, nobody's going out there going 'how do I disrespect my top star, my world champion. How do I disrespect him.' Nobody's thinking that."
It will be interesting what will happen between Seth Rollins and CM Punk once they face each other on Monday Night RAW next week.
