Damian Priest will take on Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank 2024 with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line. The duo set an interesting stipulation for the match on the previous episode of Monday Night RAW. If Damian Priest wins, Seth Rollins will not challenge for the title as long as Priest is the champion. However, if Rollins wins, Priest will leave The Judgment Day.
To make the fight fair, The Archer of Infamy shouldn't have The Judgment Day members ringside, and Priest has claimed that he will do it alone. Considering Finn Balor and Priest are going through a rough patch, Balor might not come out ringside but one can expect Dominik Mysterio to try to help Priest against the World Heavyweight Champion's wish, only for Damian Priest to have him removed.
Damian Priest has caught onto Dominik Mysterio's lies
The Archer of Infamy has been asking Mysterio whether he has spoken to Rhea Ripley, and Mysterio has been saying yes. However, on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, 'Dirty Dom' learned that Priest has spoken to Ripley.
Considering Priest knows Dominik Mysterio lied to him about talking to The Eradicator, he can have Mysterio removed from ringside at Money in the Bank, if Mysterio tries to help. Not only will Damian Priest want to defeat Seth Rollins clean, but also wouldn't want any help from a superstar he isn't too happy with at the moment.
Dominik Mysterio's actions can almost backfire
Dirty Dom isn't the luckiest when it comes to helping superstars in their title matches. In recent months, he tried to help Becky Lynch against Liv Morgan and it backfired. On the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, he tried to help Zelina Vega against Morgan and that backfired as well.
So, at Money in the Bank, if Dominik Mysterio tries to help The Archer of Infamy, there's a good chance it could backfire. For instance, Seth Rollins could move out of the way, and Dominik's blow could land on Priest. Or, Priest gets distracted, which benefits Rollins. The interference doesn't have to lead to Priest losing but could be enough to have Mysterio escorted backstage, which is in line with his history of failed assists.
Fans boo Dominik Mysterio out of the arena
The reason why 'Dirty Dom' is a successful heel is because WWE doesn't need to feed in the boos when he enters the arena. The boos are completely from the fans, and it's loud!
Mysterio arriving ringside to help Priest against Rollins can result in a massive rise in "boos", and can become distracting for the champion and the challenger. WWE can choose to remove Dominik Mysterio from ringside to stop the boos and enable Priest and Rollins to battle undistracted. However, it would be very interesting to see if the ref ejects Mysterio if he is caught in the act.
