WWE star Pete Dunne continued his feud with Sheamus and took another shot at The Celtic Warrior, one day after costing him victory in his match against Big Bronson Reed on Monday Night RAW.
During a segment on NXT Great American Bash, Pete Dunne called Sheamus out and referred to their time together in The Brawling Brutes. Dunne used to compete under the ring name Butch, which he called a 'terrible nickname.'
However, he didn't blame WWE and Triple H for it, but rather took a shot at Sheamus for the nickname selection.
"The first time in my life that I turned to somebody for advice, I got stuck with a terrible nickname and a front row seat to the Sheamus show," Pete Dunne said on NXT.
Fans expect Sheamus to fight back and seek revenge on Dunne, still The Celtic Warrior is not the only WWE star that Pete Dunne is currently having a feud with. The other one is former NXT champion Trick Williams.
Pete Dunne to collide with Trick Williams on WWE NXT Great American Bash next week
Pete Dunne took a shot at his former tag team partners Sheamus, Ridge Holland and Tyler Bate before challenging Trick Williams to a match at Night Two of NXT Great American Bash on Tuesday, August 6.
Dunne is determined to make Williams 'figure it out,' even though he didn't explain why he attacked him last week.
Based on what the fans have seen so far, it wouldn't come as a surprise if the WWE Universe sees Sheamus come to NXT next week and interfere in Pete Dunne's match.
Should this happen, it could also lead to tag team action, featuring Sheamus and Trick Williams against Pete Dunne and Big Bronson Reed, which could happen in the coming episodes of NXT or Monday Night RAW, respectively.
