It seems the wrestling gods do not favour Daniel Bryan. Previously, it was the WWE World Heavyweight championship which he was forced to vacate after suffering injuries which led to continued physical issues for the rest of 2014 until he made his return to the ring at Royal Rumble 2015.
Now with only after two months of winning the Intercontinental title at Wrestlemania 31, Bryan again has been forced to relinquish the belt owing to the recent injuries which have been bothering him.
As seen last night on Raw, Bryan came out and revealed to the WWE Universe that he may be out indefinitely but didn’t eliminate the chance of returning to the ring adding that there is no telling if he’ll get back to a place physically where he would be able to wrestle again.

WWE had been hoping for Bryan to return to ring action later this month, but the MRI results poured cold water in the company’s plans. The decision on Bryan was made on May 8th after Bryan and WWE officials received MRI results on his shoulder.
The news, however, doesn’t come as a big surprise as Bryan was removed from Extreme Rules pay-per-view after failing to get a medical clearance. Prior to that, Bryan was also removed from WWE’s European Tour in mid-April.
Bryan also is not scheduled for this week’s Smackdown tapings but is scheduled to work at Sunday’s Payback pay-per-view and next week’s WWE TV tapings next week, possibly working in an angle to pass on the baton to a new champion.
