WWE announcer and backstage interviewer Scott Standford has mentioned on Twitter that he will be working the Raw pre-show again this week, indicating that Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler won’t be available. It is noted that Lawler had been hospitalized since New Year’s Eve after diagnosed with a case of diverticulitis and missed the last week’s edition of Raw. He was later discharged from Methodist North Hospital in Memphis and is said to be recovering.
Lawler was replaced by WWE Hall of Famer Booker T on commentary, who usually hosts the pre-show. With Standford now hosting the pre-show, it now appears that Booker T will remain in commentary again this week. Till now there is no announcement from WWE on Lawler’s return.
As reported earlier, Kevin Nash has been pulled from January 19th Raw Reunion Special show in Dallas and his WWE Legends deal is suspended due to his domestic violence case against his son, Tristen Nash. It is no secret that Nash and Triple H have been good friends for years, it is noted that Triple H would be the one who made the decision to suspend Nash’s deal and he would have been the one to inform him the same.
