Update on Rusev's injury, Hall of Famer to appear at WWE live event in Tokyo

Rusev was injured last month on SmackDown

Last month, on the May 26th episode of SmackDown, Rusev was involved in a match against Ryback. During the match, Rusev took a bump over the top rope and eventually injured himself. Rusev is presently out of action but we are not sure whether he is out with a broken foot or a broken ankle.

We have to stay tuned for further updates on this. It was speculated by Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Rusev could be forced to wrestle in boots in the coming days.

Earlier this year, Japanese wrestling legend, Tatsumi Fujinami was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Two WWE live events are scheduled to take place in Tokyo this July and there has been a lot of talk of having Fujinami at one or both of these events in Tokyo.
