Update on the wrestling promotion started by WWE Legends

– Roddy Piper has been one of the most acclaimed superstars in the WWE. The legend who passed away this year was working on a new wrestling promotion along with other WWE legends.

Classic Wrestling Revolution is the promotion being launched in Las Vegas with several legends actively working with it. Past WWE Superstars such as Road Warrior Animal, Jake ‘the Snake’ Roberts, Tommy Dreamer along with others are involved in this novel project.

It looks like Classic Wrestling Revolution promises to bring back the old school style of pro wrestling. With a talented roster and legends such as Jake Roberts to train, that dream might just become a reality once the product is launched.

It is also rumoured that legendary promoter Jerry Jarrett might be a part of this promotion along with these past superstars. The promotion is set to be launched in Las Vegas in 2016 and promises classic pro wrestling for its suitors.

They released videos featuring Road Warrior Animal and Shane Douglas along with others to promote their product. It looks like the product will contain old school wrestling where talents will be trained by these acclaimed superstars.

There seems to be a different format as they are promoting it as a pro wrestling reality show rather than a full blown sports entertainment show with scripts and storylines. It seems that there will be teams trained by these superstars and one will triumph at the end of the 52 weeks.

In this video, Piper admits that he loves the revolution part of the promotion. Even though Piper may have passed, his legacy and idea for the show will carry on with the other superstars.

Road Warrior Animal also talks about his training methods for the promotion and considering his appeal we can be sure that won't be anything but tough.

The conclusion is that the promotion looks to be hell bent on getting back the old school way of professional wrestling in today’s water downed product.
