Update on WWE Network shows, former WWE stars to face each other and more

Former WWE superstars and title holders are set to face each other at an independent wrestling event.

Rob Van Dam is set to face former WWE superstar John Morrison at the Pro Wrestling Syndicate promotion in Rahway, New Jersey for the first time ever. Both of these high flyers will compete in a one on one match at the promotion’s main event in New Jersey. Rob Van Dam and Morrison are very accomplished wrestlers and fans would love to see this match between the past WWE stars.

– WWE looks to have forged a strong bond with EVOLVE Wrestling. The EVOLVE PPV 49 and 50 featured WWE Superstar and former NXT Champion Sami Zayn. Sami appeared in a segment where he cut a promo and also praised some of the wrestlers working with EVOLVE.

According to PWInsider.com, the show was put together in a very short span of time but managed to work wonders. It was also reported that Sami Zayn had a great time during the event and spared a lot of time for some autograph session.

– The WWE network has launched various small shows after the season finales of their two major shows, Tough Enough and Total Divas. Shows like Table for 3, Unfiltered with Renee and Culture Shock have been popular.

This week’s Table for 3 features Samoa Joe, Neville and Bo Dallas all three of whom have had a significant part in NXT. While Neville and Dallas have been former NXT Champions, Samoa Joe is yet to break in. They talk about breaking into NXT, NXT as a show and the importance of the developmental in the WWE.

A new episode of WWE Rivalries will be aired on the WWE Network featuring two faces of the company in different eras. The Rock and John Cena rivalry will be portrayed on the latest episode of WWE Rivalries and the names in question will no doubt garner a lot of attention from the viewers.

Team Australia Rugby player Daniel Vidot has apparently signed a contract with the WWE developmental. Vidot revealed that he had signed a contract after a three-day trial which is for the next three years. Vidot was confident of harnessing the role of a full-time wrestler in two years time after enough training in the art of wrestling.
