Updated Money in the Bank match card (June 28, 2024): Unexpected win; old rivals to clash again a year later?

We are almost a week away from Money in the Bank 2024, poised to be another spectacular premium live event from WWE. The Stamford-based promotion has already announced some blockbuster matches for this PLE, and the recent edition of SmackDown added even more excitement to the show.

The latest episode of the Blue brand featured both Men's and Women's qualifying matches. In the Men's qualifiers, LA Knight won over Logan Paul and Santos Escobar in a triple-threat match, officially earning his spot in the traditional ladder match for MITB.

In the Women's qualifiers, Tiffany Stratton and Naomi secured their spots in the MITB ladder match. The 25-year-old star faced Jade Cargill and Candice LeRae and secured an unexpected win after some interference. On the other hand, the Glow overpowered Indi Hartwell and Blair Davenport to emerge as the winner.

Additionally, Money in the Bank will feature Damian Priest and Seth Rollins locking horns again, with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line. This bout will include a high-profile stipulation: if Priest loses, he must leave Judgment Day, but if Rollins loses, he will never challenge the Archer of Infamy for the title again.

Furthermore, Sami Zayn and Bron Breakker will also fight with the Intercontinental Championship on the line. Lastly, Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton will clash with the Bloodline in a six-man tag team bout.

Which match is expected to main event Money in the Bank 2024?

WWE has not confirmed which match will be the main event of the upcoming Money in the Bank PLE in Canada. However, the Bloodline six-man tag team match will likely close the show.

This is primarily due to the assumption that Roman Reigns might make a surprise return to confront Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline, especially after they brutally attacked Paul Heyman this week.

If this match is not the main event MITB, then the Men's Money in the Bank ladder match is the second most likely candidate to headline the event.
