The latest episode of WWE SmackDown brought a major development to the match card of the Backlash 2024 Premium Live Event. One of the primary additions to the card was the inclusion of The Bloodline in a tag team bout.
The match was announced after Kevin Owens launched an attack on Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga, seeking revenge for the latter duo's assault on him the previous week. This led to Owens and Tonga exchanging blows before dragging each other into the ring, where The Enforcer helped Tama in viciously attacking The Prizefighter.
However, Randy Orton interfered and saved KO from The Bloodline. This heated altercation ultimately resulted in SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, along with WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long, announcing a tag team match for Backlash France, where The Viper and The Prizefighter will be teaming up to take on Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga.

WWE could add another massive match to the card of Backlash 2024
As we are just a week away from Backlash France, there is a strong possibility that fans could witness more matches getting added to the card of the upcoming premium live event. One major match that the Stamford-based promotion could include is a clash between Drew McIntyre and Sheamus.
For those unaware, both The Scottish Warrior and The Celtic Warrior were involved in a heated argument during the latest episode of WWE RAW. Hence, a match between the two stars seems to be a possibility for the upcoming Backlash Premium Live Event.
Whenever Drew and Sheamus have collided in the squared circle in the past, they have delivered nothing but banger matches to fans. It will be intriguing to see whether they will add a new chapter to their rivalry at Backlash France or not.
