WWE is treating RAW's Netflix debut show as one of the Big Five premium live events. This special edition of the red brand will take place on January 6, 2025. With numerous surprises and twists expected, Triple H has added another major showdown to the card: CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins.
The Visionary and The Best in the World have been embroiled in a long-term rivalry. Since CM Punk's return to WWE at Survivor Series: WarGames last year, Rollins has made it clear he doesn't like him. Despite several heated segments between the two, a match has yet to unfold.
During a recent edition of the red brand, Seth and Punk engaged in a heated physical altercation, forcing Adam Pearce and other WWE officials to intervene. Rollins demanded a match against The Second City Saint from the RAW GM. In response, Pearce announced that the RAW Netflix debut show would get even bigger, officially booking the match for January 6, 2025.

Following the announcement, Triple H shared the match graphic on his official X/Twitter account, hyping the long-awaited clash. He referred to the encounter as "years in the making." The last time Seth Rollins and CM Punk clashed was on December 30, 2013, making their upcoming rematch nearly after 11 years.
Additionally, Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat match for the Ula Fala is also confirmed for the RAW Netflix debut show. This match serves as an opportunity for the Original Tribal Chief to reclaim his lost powers. So, following this week's RAW, the updated card for this special edition of the red brand is as follows:
- Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa - Tribal combat match for the Ula Fala
- Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk - singles match
Is Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley match also part of the WWE RAW Netflix debut show?
Besides CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan is another match announced on the red brand this week. This development occurred when The Eradicator confronted the Women's World Champion and issued a warning about dethroning her. Ripley revealed that she had already spoken to Adam Pearce and is now the number one contender for the Women's World Title.
As a result, a match between the two is officially set, with Ripley determined to claim the championship from Morgan. However, during this segment, no date was mentioned for the match.
Additionally, the company has yet to clarify its location, raising doubts about whether the match will be part of the RAW Netflix debut show or occur before January 6, 2025. Overall, the chances are uncertain, and fans will have to wait for an official announcement from WWE for further confirmation.
