The Judgment Day is going through a turbulent period after what happened at SummerSlam in early August. The show saw the departure of Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest and the addition of the reigning Women's World Champion Liv Morgan.
Finn Balor has now taken over things for the faction, but things haven't gone the right way for the new version of The Judgment Day. This week, they will look to come back and make a statement to show that they remain a dominant faction on Monday Night RAW.
With that in mind, let's take a look at three predictions for The Judgment Day heading into the August 19 episode of Monday Night RAW.
#3. Trying to add another member to the team
We could say that the current version of the faction has a weak link in Carlito. The veteran wrestler appears to have no direction at the moment and it wouldn't come as a surprise should he lose his spot at the Judgment Day.
Thus, we should expect to see the faction looking to add another member and kick Carlito out, which could add more fuel to the current storyline, as Carlito could pursue siding with Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest.
#2. Setting the stage for upcoming title match
Sami Zayn and Jey Uso are expected to team up and challenge Finn Balor and JD McDonagh for the Tag Team titles. We have seen WWE tease this match in straight weeks after SummerSlam, with Jey and Sami having backstage talk.
There is no word on when this match could happen, but Bash in Berlin could be an ideal place. That said, we should expect Jey and Sami to go after the reigning champions and confront them on RAW either backstage or in the ring, setting the stage for a title match at Bash in Berlin or earlier.
Should this happen, it would be interesting to see what RAW GM Adam Pearce will decide and whether a stipulation could be added to avoid outside interference and prevent The Judgment Day from using the numbers game.
#1. Using the numbers game against Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley
Despite having the numbers game to their advantage, The Judgment Day was decimated by Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley in straight weeks. Rhea and Damian have stood tall and have made a statement, setting the tone for their match against Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio at Bash in Berlin.
Thus, we expect the faction to get back on track this week and target the Terror Twins, aiming to make a statement. To do so, they are expected to use the numbers game, as they are 5-on-2 against Rhea and Damian.
On that occasion, it would be interesting to see whether the Terror Twins will get some help from other wrestlers, who have unfinished business with The Judgment Day. That said, we could see names like Rey Mysterio, Sami Zayn, and Jey Uso come to the aid of Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest to even the odds.
