Video: Daniel Bryan feels John Cena "borderline offended" him and AJ Styles at WWE SmackDown Promo

John Cena’s comments didn’t go down well with everyone

SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan looked to have been ‘borderline offended’ by John Cena’s remarks in the latest episode of the blue brand. Renee Young and Bryan host a segment named Talking Smack, which airs after SmackDown Live every week on the WWE Network, where the duo are witnessed discussing the events which took place on the show.

During a promo with AJ Styles, John Cena remarked that he will only ever wrestle in the WWE before adding that if things don’t work out for The Phenomenal One, he will just join another wrestling promotion. These comments seem to offend Daniel Bryan, who was himself fired from the WWE twice and had to explore other avenues.

The SmackDown Live General Manager then opined that Styles would not quit wrestling if things don’t work out for him at WWE and take up another profession, but will wrestle somewhere else, because when all is said and done they are all wrestlers and this is what they love to do and this is how they provide for their families.

Here is what Bryan had to say about Cena’s comments:

Cena and Styles are set to face each other at SummerSlam in less than three weeks, with the stakes particularly high for the Cenation leader. Should Cena lose the match against The Phenomenal One at the pay-per-view, he will have to accept that Styles is better than him.
