A video of Roman Reigns emerged on social media recently, showing the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion having an intense workout in the gym. The video was posted by American bodybuilder and actor, Kai Greene, and it is real, as Reigns continues to work on his body amid his hiatus from WWE.

The Tribal Chief has been taking time off after losing the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes in the main event of Night Two of WrestleMania 40. In the meantime, The Head of the Table has also worked on a few projects, including filming a new movie.

Now, the video that recently emerged on social media shows that Roman is seemingly getting close to his in-ring return in the Stamford-based promotion, even though it is unclear when it will happen. However, The Tribal Chief is being advertised for the go-home episode of SmackDown before the SummerSlam 2024 Premium Live Event, still, it is unclear if he will make a comeback before that.

What the future has in store for The Tribal Chief remains to be seen.

What can Roman Reigns do following his WWE return?

There are a few directions that Roman Reigns could look forward to following his WWE return. The first one is to go after Cody Rhodes and try to grab the Undisputed WWE Championship. This could lead to a new storyline that could extend to a few of the coming premium live events.

The other direction is for him to confront Solo Sikoa and fight against The Enforcer for The Bloodline's control. Since Reigns went on a hiatus, Sikoa has taken over control of the Samoan faction, bringing Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to the faction and kicking Jimmy Uso out.

In that probable scenario, The Tribal Chief would need The Usos to reunite and join him against Sikoa's new-look Bloodline. The last direction for Roman would be to take on Seth Rollins and culminate a feud that started around a decade ago.

Rollins is on a hiatus as well, taking time to recover from his injury. However, The Visionary should return during the summer, and facing Reigns could be a decent storyline when he makes his comeback to the Stamford-based promotion.
