With the recent Daniel Bryan’s corporate makeover on Raw, we take a look at Stone Cold’s corporate makeover on Raw Is War in 1998 when he was the WWF Champion.
On the 6th April edition of Raw Is War in 1998, just 2 weeks after Stone Cold won the WWF Title at WrestleMania 14,Vince McMahon announced that on that night, fans will see a new and improved Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Then came out a corporate Stone Cold with a Blue Armani Suit, white shirt & a cap on!
Vince McMahon took out a few mistakes as Austin was not wearing the Gucci shoes, instead he was wearing his wrestling boots. Then Vince took Austin’s cap off him & threw it into the crowd. Stone Cold, after some talk, asks to take a picture of him & Vince & then shows his true colours.
