Vince McMahon furious over Punk's Piledriver

Vince McMahon was left fuming after the match between CM Punk and John Cena in the recent episode of RAW because Punk used a move that was banned from wrestling.

During the Number 1 contender match between CM Punk and John Cena, Punk hit Cena with the piledriver. The winner of the match would get face The Rock for the WWE Championship Title, at WrestleMania 29.

The piledriver is move that was banned from wrestling because of its severe consequences, if the move was not executed properly. As per the rules, every wrestler needs prior authorization if they want to perform the piledriver.

In the past, there have been many cases of the injuries caused by the improper execution of the manoeuvre. The most famous being Owen Harts’ Tombstone Piledriver on Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin suffered a broken neck because of that move.

Sources report that Punks’ piledriver was not part of the plan and there has not been any disciplinary actions taken against either wrestler.
