Since Vince McMahon's association with WWE came to an end, speculation has been floating about the former CEO starting a new promotion. After all, McMahon spent 40-plus years building WWE, and someone who spent that time in wrestling would most likely have the urge to get back.

Given that a return to the Stamford-based promotion seems unlikely, McMahon could begin a new promotion. While the idea of founding a new company at this stage in his life would not seem to be the brightest, reports suggest McMahon will be able to legally do so in January 2025 if he wishes.

So, if Vince McMahon does end up starting a new wrestling promotion, let us look at three superstars who could join him.

#3. Bobby Lashley could join Vince McMahon

While Bobby Lashley is currently signed to WWE, it seems he might soon be on his way out. And if Lashley does end up leaving the Triple H-led promotion, it wouldn't be surprising to see him joining Vince McMahon's hypothetical company.

For those unaware, Lashley recently praised Vince during an appearance on The Laboratory Podcast. The former WWE Champion said Vince McMahon understood him:

“If I say the wrong thing right now….I had a connection with Vince. Vince understood me. Vince was big on the show. He looked at people that were stars. He saw that in me. There were a lot of little nuggets that Vince would give me throughout my career and tell me different things.”

Lashley concluded by saying Vince looked at him like a star, whereas The All Mighty admitted he does not have much of a connection with Triple H. Hence, it won't be surprising to see Bobby Lashley join Vince's promotion.

#2. Jinder Mahal

Former WWE Superstar Jinder Mahal is another name that could join Vince McMahon if he ever decides to start a promotion. The reason behind it is simple: under Vince's reign, Mahal experienced the biggest push of his career.

When Vince was heading creative, Mahal became the WWE Champion and the United States Champion. He also did some of his best work as a heel during that time. Therefore, Mahal could be a candidate for McMahon's promotion if he decides to start one.

#1. Brock Lesnar

After Vince had announced his retirement from professional wrestling in 2022, he made a return to the promotion in 2023 and became Executive Chairman of the board before resigning later. However, during the time he returned, reports suggested Brock Lesnar had made a special request.

As per reports, Lesnar wanted Vince McMahon to book his matches. If true, this request by Lesnar shows that The Beast Incarnate has faith in McMahon's creative vision for him as a wrestler. After all, Lesnar came to WWE and flourished in the promotion under Vince's tenure.

Hence, Brock Lesnar could be another name who could consider joining Vince's promotion. Another reason this could happen is because Lesnar is not currently making appearances on WWE programming. He has been absent since SummerSlam 2023.
