WATCH: 5 major backstage fights in pro wrestling

Some pro wrestling stars don't like their co-workers, resulting in backstage fights. After Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels sc*e*ed over Bret 'The Hitman' Hart at Survivor Series 1997 in Montreal, he knocked McMahon out with a punch backstage.

Although Hart and McMahon reconciled once the former returned to the WWE in 2010, the Montreal Sc**wjob became one of the most infamous incidents in pro wrestling.

At the post-AEW All In media scrum in 2022, CM Punk blasted The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and 'Hangman' Adam Page, seemingly accusing them of spreading rumors that he got Colt Cabana fired. This led to a backstage brawl between the EVPs and Punk and his friend, Ace Steel. Everyone involved in the brawl was suspended but eventually came back.

Punk engaged in another scuffle the following year at AEW's biggest show, All In, choking out Jack Perry in the backstage area. The former Jungle Boy previously fired shots at The Second City Saint during his match against Hook. While the multi-time world champion was fired from the Tony Khan-led company following the incident, Perry received a lengthy suspension.
