Cody Rhodes lost to Brock Lesnar at WWE's Night of Champions. However, the American Nightmare looked strong in defeat as he competed with a broken arm. Cody's booking since WrestleMania 39 has been fabulous, as he has been involved in an intense feud with The Beast Incarnate.
The former AEW star earned a pinfall victory over Lesnar at Backlash, and now they are even with Brock beating him at Night of Champions. We are likely to have another match between the two, probably at SummerSlam, which will determine the winner of this rivalry.
Cody might still be in the conversation about ending Roman Reigns' historic region because his feud with Brock will only make him more credible.
