Dean Ambrose suffered a triceps injury and had been working with it, when he was written out of the story with an attack from Sheamus, Cesaro and Samoa Joe.

He had only reunited with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns a couple of months ago, and the injury stopped the Shield reunion in its tracks. It was expected that he would take 9 months to sufficiently recover from injury to return to action.

While many fans expect a return from the massively popular lunatic fringe at SummerSlam, it is expected he will take longer to mount a complete recovery.

He is expected to return in the weeks following SummerSlam.

Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss both broke through into the NXT scene as a tag team and appeared as if they were about to get a push but were then split up. As if that was not enough, weeks after being split up both wrestlers were on the shelf.

Tino Sabbatelli suffered an injury after a dropkick from Velveteen Dream tore his pectoral muscle in early May. He underwent surgery and is expected to be out of action for nine months.

A week after his former partner was out with an injury, Riddick Moss joined him on the shelf with a torn Achilles tendon which might keep him out for anywhere between six to eight months.
