WWE Superstar Big E is one of the most decorated stars in the company, having an acclaimed career as part of The New Day. However, the 38-year-old was recently kicked out of his faction as Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston turned on him, severing their once unbreakable bond. Following this, clouds of uncertainty were looming over his future in the company.

It looks like the former WWE Champion has found a new role. WWE is set to make its highly anticipated debut on Netflix on January 6, 2025. Ahead of the historic move, Netflix has unveiled a robust slate of WWE programming, offering extensive content to the viewers. The global streaming giant will feature an exclusive show known as 'RAW Classics,' and Big E will host it.

The new show is expected to have a wide variety of archived content featuring WWE legends and Hall of Famers. The former The New Day member will likely take fans down memory lane by showing vintage clips and offering background information, explanations, or insights to help the audience understand the subject of the show.

Monday Night RAW's move to Netflix will cater to a broader global audience. With RAW Classics, Big E will likely play a major role in introducing new fans to the WWE legends and icons who paved the way for the new generation of superstars. His role may not remain limited to one show; rather, he could be involved in various other activities to represent WWE once it moves to Netflix.

What is WWE's plan regarding Big E's in-ring return?

The one topic that often remains a matter of discussion among fans is Big E's in-ring return. After everything that happened at The New Day's 10th-anniversary celebration on RAW this month, the WWE Universe has been eagerly waiting to know whether the company is contemplating the 38-year-old's in-ring comeback.

Sadly, things do not look good at the moment. Big E is still not medically cleared to compete as his recovery has been underway. The Triple H-led creative is not considering his return to the squared circle either. The former New Day member has been getting scans and X-rays regularly to assess his condition.

Regardless of his in-ring status, the 38-year-old has been seen on premium live events, hosting kick-off shows on the panel. Moreover, he is one of WWE's ambassadors, visiting places to promote and endorse the Stamford-based promotion at times.

It will be interesting to see whether the former Intercontinental Champion ever returns to in-ring action in WWE.
