Dominik then explained why he betrayed The Eradicator on WWE RAW, yet Rhea is out for revenge and will team up with Damian Priest to take on Dirty Dom and Liv Morgan in a Mixed Tag Team Match at Bash in Berlin on Saturday, August 31.

This love triangle has not affected Dominik Mysterio's relationship with his wife, Marie Juliette. The two got married back in March and as Dominik revealed on an appearance on Logan Paul's podcast IMPAULSIVE, his wife understands that his on-screen flirting with Rhea and Liv was just a storyline. He also revealed her reaction when Mami licked his face on TV.

"I do what I do on TV, and when Rhea licked my face, the first text I got from her was ‘There’s a tarantula in the garage.’ She understands the difference from like when I’m on TV, I’m 'Dirty Dom' and I come home to her and I’m her husband Dominik. She does a good job of seperating work and real life," Dominik said during an appearance on Logan Paul's podcast, The Impausive, via WrestleOps.

Meanwhile, both Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley have referred to their on-screen relationship with Dirty Dom, making it clear that it is only a storyline.

Dominik Mysterio betrayed Rhea Ripley at WWE SummerSlam and added a new angle to the storyline with Liv Morgan. Mami called him out on Monday, but Dirty Dom then gave two reasons why he picked Liv over Rhea and hence, the eventual betrayal.

The first one was that he doesn't need to change his character with Liv and the second was that she had helped him beat his 'deadbeat dad,' Rey Mysterio.

"I am a man and deserve to be treated like one. You tried to change me instead of letting me be me. Do you know how embarrassing it was for you to be bossing me around? A grown man calling you Mami?... She lets me be me. And she did something you could never do - finally helping me beat my deadbeat dad," he said during RAW's opening segment, via WrestleTalk.

Rhea wasn't impressed by what she heard and attempted to get her hands on Dominik Mysterio, but Liv Morgan saved him at the last minute.
