Professional wrestling characters are designed to be larger-than-life personalities. It's safe to say that not many embody this more than former WWE star, The Boogeyman.
The Boogeyman, portrayed by Marty Wright, was a memorable character on television during his run with the Stamford-based company from 2004 to 2009. The worm-eating monster who terrified everyone in his path has been back in the news recently. Various photos and clips of The Boogeyman backstage at WWE events have surfaced, showing him fully committed to his character, complete with face paint and all. Some fans are even curious to see what he looks like without the iconic makeup.

Reportedly, The Boogeyman is currently signed to a WWE Legends contract. He makes public appearances and helps film content for the company’s social media, especially during Halloween.
Outside of the wrestling business, Wright works as a fitness instructor at his own training facility, where he regularly posts videos of himself training others.
Current WWE champion sends a message to The Boogeyman
WWE has released an entertaining video ahead of Halloween Havoc featuring The Boogeyman pranking various wrestlers backstage, including the current Women’s Tag Team Champions, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.
After their hilarious encounter, Belair took to her X (fka Twitter) account to share her reaction, saying it was her first time meeting The Boogeyman and that it was nice to meet him.
"My 1st time meeting The Boogeyman… 💀 Nice to meet you 👃🏾," Belair wrote.
