MJF is already an established star and is popular for his promos in AEW. Tony Khan has already said that wrestlers are not given any written scripts and have their own creative freedom. But in WWE this would not be the case. Superstars are handed a script for promos and don't have much creative freedom. His promos are known to be edgier and signing with WWE could affect this. The primary reason for his success is his mic skills and if signing with WWE would effect his promos, his character will not be the same anymore.

#3. AEW would look very different without MJF
MJF is known to be one of the four pillars of AEW with Hangman Adam Page, Jungle Boy and Darby Allin. These four pillars are recognized as the future of AEW.
With MJF leaving AEW, it would be hard for the company to find a talented, young, rising heel like MJF. Although AEW has a fully stacked roster of great wrestlers, The Salt of the Earth is an exceptional wrestler with a different aura which cannot be replaced.
It is very hard to imagine an AEW without MJF as one of the lead heels. He has played a major role in going up against the faces of the company, so it is unlikely that Tony Khan will let MJF join WWE.
