There has been some great news for WWE lately, as female wrestler Giulia has been medically cleared to compete. The international signing, who is expected to make her WWE debut soon, was dealing with a serious wrist injury, but she has now reportedly fully recovered.
Giulia was injured on May 20 during a match at Marigold, an international wrestling promotion in Japan, and was diagnosed with a fractured right wrist that required surgery.
Still, she has now recovered within an expected time period and is now set for her match against Sareee, which will take place at Summer Destiny 2024 in Tokyo this Saturday, July 13.
Marigold owner Rossy Ogawa gave an update on the female star's status, adding that a press conference will be held on Friday, July 12, where more details will be given.
"Everything is now set, so now it’s just a matter of waiting for the big day," Ogawa told Tokyo Sports, via 411 Mania.
As for her WWE debut, there is no official date as to when it will happen, still she is expected to start at NXT first before making it to the main roster.
Giulia could reportedly appear at next NXT Premium Live Event
Fans should expect Giulia to move to WWE once her commitments with Marigold are over. This should happen within the next few weeks, and more specifically, the next NXT Premium Live Event.
There is no official announcement on when this will happen, but it should be around WWE SummerSlam, which is set to take place in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday, August 3.
"The expectation is that Giulia will feature on the next NXT Premium Live Event, but there has been no confirmation on when that will be, although NXT sources believe SummerSlam weekend is a likely landing spot for NXT’s next PLE," Fightful Select reported, via PW Mania.
The likely scenario is that the female wrestler will go after NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez once she makes her WWE debut.
