Regrettably, another superstar has joined the ranks of the sidelined due to injury. LWO member Cruz Del Toro recently made an appearance during the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on Smackdown before WrestleMania 40. Though he failed to win the match, he seemed to have encountered an injury. Del Toro announced a successful surgery on Instagram, wearing a cast on his arm, despite not specifying the severity of his injuries.
During the April 9th episode of WWE NXT, Ridge Holland found himself in a tense encounter with LWO members Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde. The backstage segment concluded with an unexpected turn as Holland "accidentally" closed the door on Del Toro's hand, resulting in an injury for the SmackDown wrestler. This situation appears to have been planned out as part of a storyline.

It sets the stage for Del Toro to deal with a real arm injury by undergoing surgery. He has bravely shared news of his surgery, though the duration of his recovery remains uncertain. Considering the nature of his arm injury, it wouldn't be unexpected for him to require several months to recover. Other than this unfortunate news, after joining Rey Mysterio's faction he has helped him a lot win against his son.
Cruz Del Toro joins Rey Mysterio's LWO and helps in WrestleMania 40 victory
Cruze Del Toro joined Rey Mysterio's LWO faction last year and since has been competing both on SmackDown and NXT with Wilde. Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde teamed up with Rey Mysterio in his ongoing clashes against Santos Escobar, Dominik Mysterio, Angel, and Humberto.
Their collaboration reached a show at WrestleMania 40, where Del Toro and Wilde effectively countered interference from Angel and Humberto. This, in turn, helped Mysterio and Andrade to secure a winning spot in their tag team match.
Adding to the excitement, Philadelphia Eagles players Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson provided surprising assistance during the match. However, after Del Toro is sidelined it will be exciting to see who Rey Mysterio will add next to his faction.
