Kurt Angle at SummerSlam 2000
Kurt Angle suffered a concussion at SummerSlam 2000. It was a legit concussion during his triple-threat match against Triple H and the WWE Champion The Rock. Angle was a relatively new wrestler in WWE at the time and had a heated feud with The Game walking into the Biggest Party of the Summer. The two wrestlers made their entrances before The Rock and even began fighting at the ringside before the Champion could make his way to the ring. Their brawl continued to the announce table where Triple H gave the Olympian a pedigree, which was botched.
Angle hit his head on the way down, and was concussed. He was anyway meant to be sidelined from the match for a while to allow The Rock and Triple H have a fight. However, this injury increased the stakes further, as Angle was treated by emergency medicals while The Great One and The Game wrestled in the ring. Kurt Angle was taken backside and returned later in the match, which was eventually won by The Rock. Angle once took to Twitter to remember that night and revealed that he only vaguely remembers the night, and does not actually remember going to backstage and then coming back to finish the match.
