Gigi Dolin made an appearance at NXT Halloween Havoc on Sunday night and was featured in the opening video of the premium live event. Gigi Dolin has been out of action since March 12, 2024, due to a serious knee injury. There has been no official timetable for her return, but reports suggest that she has a torn ACL.

However, a recent report by Fightful suggests that the injury is more severe and will cost her between 10 and 14 months. If that is the case, she is expected to return between January and May 2025.

Before her injury, Gigi Dolin had a promising career on NXT. She is a former two-time Women's Tag Team Champion and had a successful stint as a member of Toxic Attraction.

Before her injury, she was getting a push by WWE, and had even worked a few premium live events, but it was unclear if the company had any plans to move her to the main roster.

Gigi Dolin once called break-up from Toxic Attraction an 'emotional moment'

Gigi Dolin moved to NXT in 2021 as part of Toxic Attraction, alongside Mandy Rose and Jacy Jayne.

After a couple of years, during which the faction dominated NXT, they broke up, with Jayne turning on Dolin. The former Women's Tag Team champion once opened up about that break-up.

"Toxic Attraction was the first time that I truly felt like I had girlfriends, or I would call them sisters. To have them turn their backs on me and for Jacy to do what she did, it creates this extremely emotional moment for me, to be able to not only look Jacy, who I thought was my sister and my friend, in the face and have to go to war against her, but it also symbolizes a lot of what I’ve been through in the past and the people that I’ve encountered in my past," Dolin said regarding the break-up from Toxic Attraction, via wrestlezone.

Following her appearance at NXT Halloween Havoc, it remains to be seen if there are any plans for Dolin to appear on NXT more frequently despite her injury.
