#1 Renee Young prospers
Renee Young and Dean Ambrose are one of the ultimate oddball real-life couples in wrestling.
A part of what makes the pairing so unusual is Young’s image as extremely clean cut and professional, in contrast to Ambrose being more of a hardcore wrestler and known to be a little rough around the edges.

While the successes they’ve both enjoyed in WWE have largely coincided, they also feel pretty independent.
No one would suggest Ambrose has gotten opportunities because of who his wife is. Moreover, Young is genuinely talented and well liked by fans.
While it may be tempting to say WWE gave her extra opportunities like becoming Raw’s first full-time female commentator as a nod to Ambrose, it’s hard to think of anyone better suited to that role, or to suggest she wasn’t an upgrade from Jonathan Coachman on color commentary.
While Young has succeeded on her own terms, if Ambrose were to re-sign with WWE, there’s little doubt that would add an extra layer of job security for her, not to mention providing a natural entry point if WWE ever wants to involve her in a wrestling angle.
