#3 The Freebird Rule in effect
While Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly, and Bobby Fish are all more than competent wrestlers who could do just fine with singles runs and be competitive for the Intercontinental or United States Championship, in the world of WWE they’ve been established as tag team wrestlers.
Moreover, with the more wide open tag ranks, it’s more believable that any combination of these guys could immediately be slotted as championship contenders upon their call-up.
So which pair would win the tag titles? The answer may well be that the three of them (or conceivably all four members of the Undisputed Era) would share the gold, putting the Freebird Rule into effect so that they could rotate members, in a similar fashion to what New Day has done during their title reigns.
It’s a fun dynamic to be able to switch up members, besides which it helps protect the team because, if one member does get injured, the unit can still seamlessly continue to the title reign.
