In a short time, Jacob Fatu has climbed the popularity ladder and become one of the most fearsome WWE Superstars on the current roster. He made his debut in the Stamford-based company earlier this year.

Recently, Jacob Fatu, alongside Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga, teamed up to lock horns with Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso at Crown Jewel 2024. After facing major setbacks back to back, The Bloodline picked up a massive win at the Riyadh Premium Live Event after the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief pinned The OTC with the assistance of the Samoan Werewolf.

The future looks bright for Fatu, and many critics and pundits see him as a future WWE Champion. However, recently, The Samoan Werewolf has been getting a lot of hate on social media after he was called out for allegedly scamming a non-profit organization.

Jake’s Network of Hope is a non-profit organization that distributes daily essential products to people of all ages. According to them, Jacob agreed to do a charity wrestling event in April 2023. However, he never showed up and lied to them, and he has yet to return the paid amount of $2,633.

Jacob Fatu has allegedly apologized

After the news gained some significant attention and went viral, a Reddit user claimed that his wife works for the same non-profit organization. According to him, the Samoan Werewolf has settled the issue with the NPO. Even Jake’s Network of Hope stated to Sports Illustrated that Fatu has apologized but is yet to repay the amount.

"Jacob Fatu and our organization are addressing this matter privately, beginning with a phone call and heartfelt apology back in May. While the full amount owed hasn’t yet been repaid, we appreciated Jacob’s acknowledgment. It can be tough to face up to your wrongdoings, and we commend him for taking steps toward confronting his."

However, Jacob Fatu himself has not made any public comment on the controversy. And according to a report, WWE itself investigated the situation internally. It will be interesting to see if the controversy will affect Fatu’s standing in the Stamford-based promotion.
