WWE Superstar Kevin Owens has fully embraced his heel turn over the past few weeks. He launched a vicious attack on Cody Rhodes in the parking lot after Bad Blood and assaulted his tag team partner Randy Orton on the latest episode of SmackDown.
Owens recently posted a video on his X account addressing the recent events. In the video, he criticized fans for being quick to judge him after his attack on Rhodes. He explained that he had intended to share his side of the story on SmackDown last week, but WWE did not allow him to do so. Owens also revealed that he sent a video to the company for it to be aired on RAW, but it was never shown. Frustrated by this, Kevin Owens has now issued an ultimatum.
The former Universal Champion stated that WWE has until this coming Friday to air the footage of his explanation. If they fail to do so, Owens threatened to upload it himself on his X page.
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
It will be interesting to see if WWE chooses to air Owens' explanation on SmackDown later this week.
WWE legend predicts Kevin Owens will cost Cody Rhodes the win at Crown Jewel
At Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will face World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, with the winner being crowned the first-ever Crown Jewel Champion.
Bully Ray recently weighed in on the match, stating that neither Rhodes nor Gunther can afford a clean loss at such a high-profile event. He suggested that one way to resolve this tough situation would be to involve outside interference, perhaps including a referee bump.
In this scenario, Kevin Owens could take advantage and attack Rhodes, costing him the match against Gunther. This interference could set up a major feud between Rhodes and Owens moving forward.
"I think at the Saudi show, neither one can get the win clean. My personal opinion is, the way out of it, little chicanery, maybe a ref bump or behind the ref's back, something something, Owens interferes. It's quick, Owens and Cody have the animosity, Gunther gets the win, raises the championship above his head. The next week, RAW or SmackDown, now we're off to the races with Kevin and Cody," he said.
It will be interesting to see which of these two men walks out of Crown Jewel with bragging rights.
